We're updating our Withdrawal Security Policy and the WEEX Terms of Use ahead of the new crypto-asset framework taking shape in key markets. With the FCA opening its UK authorisation gateway on 30 September 2026, we're tightening how we verify a withdrawal address and re-check account identity before any funds leave the exchange.

Withdrawal addresses are re-verified

Every withdrawal runs through an address check against your account and a second identity re-confirmation before it's signed. Unverified or flagged destinations are blocked first.

Terms aligned to the new crypto framework

The update reflects the UK FCA crypto-asset authorisation gateway opening 30 September 2026, alongside the wider licence standards and reporting duties exchanges now operate under.

Your funds stay protected

This is a policy and terms update, not a change to how your assets are held. WEEX keeps the 1,000 BTC Protection Fund that has backed the platform through eight years with no loss events.

Review and accept by Monday, 21 September 2026.

That's 10 business days from today. If we don't have your acceptance by then, we'll restrict certain trading and withdrawal functions until you've completed the review — a hold on some actions, not on your funds.
